Somebody said that it couldn’t be doneBut he through a chuckle repliedThat “possibly it couldn’t,” but he would be oneWho wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled ideal in via the map of a grinOn his challenge. If he worried he hid it.He began to sing as he tackled the thingThat couldn’t be done, and also he did it!

Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never perform that;At leastern no one ever before has actually done it;”But he took off his coat and he took off his hatAnd the first thing we kbrand-new he’d started it.With a lift of his chin and also a little bit of a grin,Without any kind of doubting or quiddit,He began to sing as he tackled the thingThat couldn’t be done, and also he did it.

You are watching: Somebody said that it couldnt be done

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,Tbelow are thousands to prophesy faientice,Tright here are thousands to point out to you one by one,The threats that wait to assail you.But simply buckle in with a bit of a grin,Just take off your coat and also go to it;Just begin in to sing as you tackle the thingThat “cannot be done,” and also you’ll do it.
